Tom WoldBesides paying the bills, overseeing the operations, and cooking top notch meals for the residents, I am active in the community. I've been a member of Rotary International since 1990, a board member of the Douglas County Health Department since 1991, and I volunteer with the Tuscola school bands. I also work for the math department at University of Illinois as a mentor for their internet math courses. My hobbies include running, playing the trumpet ( especially with daughter Glenda ), taking long hikes with the family dogs Butter and Bella, and Ballroom dancing with my wife Sally. I also enjoy travel, eating and learning about the best foods from other countries. What I love about working at Jarman Center, is helping our residents live well, providing healthy food, and a place to enjoy friendship and activities with others. I also really enjoy joking around with the residents. |

Sally FooteSally Currently works behind the scenes with her husband Tom Wold and the other Jarman staff to bring out the best in Jarman Center Living. She is a Veterinarian and also owns and practices at Okaw Veterinary Clinic in Tuscola. Active in the community, Sally is a member of the leadership committee for TEDI, board member of Hands 4 Paws humane group, and parishioner at 40 Martyrs Catholic Church. Sally's hobbies include knitting, hiking, going to curves with daughter Glenda, and travel expecially to Switzerland where her sister lives. What I love about owning Jarman Center is that we have been able to tak a building that many thought was completely obsolete adn create a vibrant living community for seniors. Jarman Center has many uses, bringing the community together rather that being a senior community separated from the rest of the town. |
